This is a game with a player of whom I'm a great fan, Tomoko Ogawa Sensei. She's always gentle and stylish; she has a splendid atmosphere. I know many people who are fans of hers.

However, she changes dramatically when she's playing. This is a common pattern. This may be just my imagination, but the more gentle a person is normally, the more stern they are when they're playing. Women professionals are all stern like this . . . (laughter)

I felt happy when the time came to play the game. I felt I was fortunate. As for the game, I felt that my opening was not bad. However, I crumbled in the middle game and thought it was hopeless, but I pulled off an upset in the latter half of the game. This is obvious, but never give up! This attitude is important. After all, you want to win.

I'm looking forward to my next chance to play Ogawa Sensei.
