Since way back I've had a tendency not to think deeply about things . . . (though that's not right for a professional go player).
Even if I'm nervous about a new event, I just say to myself, 'Things will work out.'
Even if I'm nervous acting as an MC on TV, when the time comes, I think, 'Things will work out.'
If I forget something I had to do, well, 'Thing will . . .' That's no good, right.
Sometimes I think that my personality is just irresponsible. I think being optimistic is OK, so maybe I am irresponsible.
The important thing is that 'Things will work out' is something you can say if you have made the necessary efforts and preparation.
I don't know if you can call it a motto, but I would like to grow as a person so that I can say with confidence, 'Things will work out.' |
