As a professional go player, what are your goals for the next five years? If you were asked this question, how would you answer? |

If I look back at the last five years . . . I've done nothing special! (laughs)
In five years' time, I hope to be stronger than I am now.
I hope to do my best so that I can win my way a little closer to the top in the women's tournaments and make my name better known. My immediate goal is to earn promotion to 6-dan.
To go up from 5-dan, you have to wins 90 games since becoming 5-dan. (The women's tournaments are not counted.)
I reached 5-dan five and a half years ago, and since then I guess I've won about 50 games.
I hope to be promoted within five years, so I am making efforts every day and doing my best. |
