For the last seven years, I've really been into stone saunas.
A stone sauna is a place where you lay out a towel on a heated natural rock and, with breaks, lie face down and face up without moving for 30 minutes to an hour. I like it so much I often fall asleep, but for some reason I wake up after ten minutes.
The room temperature is about 38 degrees, and the humidity is 70%; it's not hot, but you really sweat a lot. Afterwards, I feel physically and mentally refreshed.
On days I think it's cold, I go; when I think I may have caught a cold, I go; when I have a hangover and my joints are aching, I go (I don't dhink much, so this rarely happens, but it's really effective); when I feel tired, I go; when I feel at a loose end, I go.
This is probably the only thing apart from go that I have kept at for so long. |
