Asian players are strong but do you think any strong players come out from Europe or USA or Africa etc.? Do you think that any players from Italy become professional? I believe that someday we will see European strong professional Go players, even Italian. But so far, it's very difficult to become strong professional Go player for European, USA, and African etc. Because, at the moment, the only way to become a professional Go player is going to Asian country to study Go. It's very hard and there isn't an official support for the foreigner Go student in Japan. Already there are some European Go professionals in Asian countries. They got a chance to come to Japan quite young and they did it. So, it's not impossible but very difficult.
